In groups i had the most fun, got the best EQ Solo I made the most XP and gold, and gained the deepest understanding of guilds
I was just curious how others see this game in the current form. |

| i have a lot of fun soloing, to a point. i favor guilds that CAN solo, but do well in parties as well. i do enjoy partying, if for no other reason than it takes some of the stress out of doing things, but solo is fun too.
golding is definitely easiest to do solo. exp rates get noticeably bigger in parties, but i would say that most of my characters get the majority of their exp soloing because i can't wait for parties all day.
however, when is switch to my bigger char who is in a mostly-party oriented guild, i can generally get a party, so if the underlying questoin of this post is whether or not IoM is doomed to be a solo mud, i would have to say no. It might not be a big party mud, but it's definitely not just a solo mud. |

I think it's fairly equal, though you do get exp much faster in a solid party. I do really dig that you can go with a solo guild, a party guild, or something more versatile. or switchbodies, or log a secondary

Neither; I think it's mostly a social game. Progress is irrelevent. |
