| Ok. So, I THINK I fixed undead parry for realz this time. There were apparently 2 different spots that used code native only to players that were involved in parrying, and both are not made to work with aboms (which, I believe, are the only necro fams who get to parry).
In order to have updated parry, any abomination out at the time of this post must be put away with lethargy and then resummoned (or, I guess, you could let it die or reincarnate it). Also, in order to have updated parry, you will need to stick your shield in a safe, or wait til reboot. If you are using the safe method, please leave the room after putting it in said safe for at least 3 minutes (which will let cleanup dest it, so that you get a new copy) and be sure that no one else causes that room to remain loaded.
Until reboot, I have to manually update the shields that will work on Aboms (well, unless they weren't loaded at all yet); as of now, that includes Hagworth's Shield, Shield of the Chameleon, and Wolf Shield. If you personally are a necromancer and one of these is not the shield you intend to use parry with before reboot, let me know. Chances are, however, that if your shield isn't really very useful to parrying via stats, masteries, or specials; I will simply tell you to get a Hagworth Shield. :) |
