| i've now set up some code so that if you die in any avatar state, the gods get mad at you for not using their magic efficiently.
if you anger the gods in this way, what happens is that they ignore your sacrifices. any sacrifice you have made to that god is ignored, and any future sacrifice is ignored til you have done enough in that god's name (read: using that god's skills/spells) to make the god forgive you and allow a sacrifice to be effective.
in the case of shirija's avatar, she will save you and try to kill the monster before your sacrifice is ignored, but after she saves you (or doesn't), then she will be angry at you for wasting her time.
there's no time limit on the gods being angry, it's strictly based on how much you do to make it up to them. |

I'm still ok with this in general, just wanted to provide a little feedback. It's particularly difficult to recover from a mordulak death because you want to put up avatar of mordulak in order to solo.
With any other god, if you go and party at all you are casting those spells and by the time the party is done all is good with the god. But since you can't cast blood fire in a party, you can go xp for 2 hours and then Mordulak is still a wanker and won't accept a sacrifice.
present staff to lloth Maybe make it so that time does factor in in someway? Make the god not budge for 30 minutes and then start easing up? Such a long time doesn't seem unreasonable, and wouldn't provide any benefit towards Shirija eq. |
