| changed restore companions and invigorate companions. rather than being stronger than heal companions and refresh companions, they are weaker. they are also 2 rounds, and they are also more expensive than heal companions or refresh companions. basically, the tradeoff is that you can almost definitely get them off in one round, but the downside is that they won't heal as much and they cost more, so it's better to use heal companions/refresh companions if you have the time.
i removed sacrifice life force completely, and recoded sacrifice health to be more useful. i created from the code that was in sacrifice health two new spells. one is sacrifice energy (ep drain on caster, heals eps on target) and sacrifice mana (mana drain on caster, mana heal on target). that last one will probably change soonish. it won't be removed, it'll just be changed.
for anyone wondering if this completely removes the usefulness of lay hands, the answer is no. for one thing, lay hands owrks on the caster. for another, it also heals hps. lastly, it uses eps, rather than costing you a lot of sps.
pretty much if sacrifice mana gets changed, it will be to stick it to the caster even more in terms of sp cost. |
