that's not necessarily what happened. it might be that the hit did multiple dtypes of dmg, and therefore you died to the damage of one dtype and then after drit the next couple of dtypes hit you and killed you from the same hit. on a mob that big it isn't surprising that it'd kill you.
being stunned wouldn't stop the move though.
